Nut-Free Chocolate Mousse

Rich, creamy nut-free chocolate mousse made with simple ingredients. A smooth, indulgent dessert everyone can enjoy.

Ingredients

Ingredients:

  • 200g nut-free dark chocolate
  • 3 eggs, separated
  • 1/4 cup (50g) caster sugar
  • 1 cup (240ml) thickened cream
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • Fresh fruit to serve

Method

Instructions:

  1. Melt chocolate and let cool slightly.
  2. Beat egg whites to soft peaks, add sugar, beat to stiff peaks.
  3. Whip cream with vanilla.
  4. Mix egg yolks into chocolate.
  5. Fold cream into chocolate mixture.
  6. Fold in meringue gently.
  7. Chill minimum 2 hours before serving with fresh fruit.
