Sweet Shamrock Soda Bread

Serves: 6 - 8

Ingredients
- 1 cups milk
- 1-2 tbs vinegar
- 3 cups SR flour
- 1 tbs Natvia
- 1 tsp bi carb soda
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 40g butter, chilled and cubed
- Rolled oats for decoration
Method
- Make the buttermilk by combining the milk with vinegar and leaving to stand for 10-15 minutes.
- Combine the flour, soda, baking powder, salt. Place in a food processor with the cubed butter and process until it forms coarse breadcrumbs. Pour in the buttermilk and pulse until a ball forms
- Lightly knead and then roll out. Using a heart shaped cookie cutter cut into 3 hearts. Roll a long piece out for the shamrock stem.
- Sprinkle with rolled oats and bake at 180C for for 10 -15 minutes
