Chocolate and Cherry Tartlets

Ah tartlets, they're the perfect amount of sweet deliciousness all wrapped up in a lovely, easy to eat, pastry cup! And our Chocolate and Cherry Tartlets are no different, except ours are filled with delicious, gooey, chocolatey goodness! These tartlets are full of flavour! From the dates baked into the crust to the cherries, almonds, and cacao nib that top this dessert off and add little surprises into every single bite. Ingredients

100 g chickpea flour

100 g desiccated coconut

3 tablespoon coconut oil, melted

50 g dates

0 Dash of vanilla extract

3 tablespoon Nuttvia spread

3 tablespoon Greek yogurt

0.5 teaspoon vanilla extract

0.5 teaspoon cinnamon

0 Fresh cherries

0 Flaked almonds

0 Cacao nibs

Method

  1. First make the base: Simply blend all of the ingredients together in a bowl so it sticks together. Divide between 3­4 mini tartlet tins and press in to cover the base and sides.
  2. Chill in the fridge for at least an hour.
  3. Meanwhile make the filling: Beat together the ingredients until quite thick and smooth then chill in the fridge for at least an hour.
  4. When ready to serve, remove the tartlets from the cases then spoon the chocolate mixture into each. Top each one with a cherry and sprinkle with almonds and cacao nibs. Serve and enjoy!
