Chocolate Coconut Rice Krispies

INGREDIENTS

  • 50 g butter
  • 90 g tahini (1/3 cup)
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 60 g Natvia natural sweetener (1/3 cup)
  • 60 g warm water (¼ cup)
  • 50 g puffed rice (2 cups)
  • 40 g desiccated coconut (½ cup)

METHOD

  1. Over a double boiler, whisk butter, tahini, cocoa powder, Natvia and water until the mixture is silky smooth. Remove from heat and set aside for a few minutes to cool.
  2. Stir in puffed rice and coconut. Press into a tray lined with baking paper. Refrigerate for one hour to harden before serving.
