Instagram has been receiving some serious social media hate following the announcement of their proposed changes to the way users view their feed. In a recent blog post, Instagram revealed that it plans to do away with the chronological order of posts, replacing it with content that they believe users will be more likely interested in.
Translation: Instagram (which is owned by Facebook) is making the changes to further monetize the platform, a move that will limit organic reach but generate millions of additional revenue for the creators.
While nobody seems too pleased with the changes, Instagram queen, Kendall Jenner is seriously unhappy! She took to Twitter to vent her frustrations:
preach @AlfredoFlores …. no @Instagram ! don’t fix something that isn’t broken pic.twitter.com/mp3BQ1mW91

It doesn’t appear that it has had much effect though! The changes look like they are coming regardless of the public outcry.
We’re listening and we assure you nothing is changing with your feed right now. We promise to let you know when changes roll out broadly.

Translation: We know you aren’t happy but we are doing it anyway.
