SUGAR FREE BABY MERINGUES

Who does not love meringue? With this recipe you can learn how to enjoy to make it in a cute shape, and enjoy it in a different way!

This is a really delicious and easy recipe to follow but also we are going to make it the healthy way bringing out all the sweetness of this treat using Natvia 100% Natural Sweetener.

INGREDIENTS

4 egg whites

1 cup of Natvia

A tbsp of vanilla extract

A pinch of salt

Food coloring (optional)

METHOD

  1. Pre heat your oven at 180º C.
  2. To bake these you will need a pan lined with baking paper.
  3. Beat all the egg whites until you get fluffy firm peaks.
  4. Keep whisking and start to add the Natvia a tbsp at a time, the pinch of salt and the vanilla extract; you will get a thicker texture. This process can take around 8 - 10 minutes.
  5. You can leave the meringues all white or decide to add some drops of you favorite food coloring (no more than 3 drops or it might water down the mixture )
  6. Time to bake the meringues! You can place it into the pan with a small - medium star tip or do little drops with the help of two spoons.
  7. Bake them for 30 minutes or until slightly golden on top.
