Sip down this delicious #sugarfree Iced Spiced Chai. This beverage is perfect for the holiday season and is ideal for entertaining!

INGREDIENTS

1-1.5L water

1x 3cm nob of ginger, skin on and slightly crushed

1 stick of cinnamon

The crushed pieces of ½ a whole nutmeg

6 cloves

6 cardamom pods

4 tsp Natvia

½ cup milk

Whole nutmeg for grating

METHOD

  1. In a large pot, add water, ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg pieces, cloves and cardamom pods. Bring to the boil over the stove, cover with pot lid, and boil for 30-45 minutes until the water is fragrant.
  2. Remove from the heat stir in sweetener. Cool the liquid down to at least room temperature or colder.
  3. To serve, strain liquid through a sieve into glasses filled with ice. Top with a little milk and grated nutmeg.
