Tahini Cookies

Prep: 10 minutes

Bake: 15 minutes


150 g plain flour (1 cup)

1.5 teaspoon baking powder

pinch of salt

1 teaspoon cinnamon

150 g butter, softened

140 g Natvia (¾ cup)

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

110 g tahini (½ cup)

35 g toasted sesame seeds (¼ cup)


  1. Preheat oven to 180C
  2. Combine the flour, salt, baking powder and cinnamon on a bowl.
  3. Beat the butter, Natvia and vanilla until light and creamy. Add the tahini and beat until combined. Add the flour and beat in batches until combined. Roll into balls and then roll in sesame seeds.
  4. Place on a baking paper lined tray and bake for 15 minutes. Stand on the tray for 3 minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool completely. They will firm as they dry
