Ingredients:

  • 1 tbsp butterfly pea tea leaves
  • 30 ml milk of choice, warmed (for steeping)
  • 30 ml heavy cream
  • 100 ml milk of choice, cold
  • 2–4 g (1–2 tsp) matcha powder
  • 30 ml hot water
  • 1–2 tsp Natvia Natural Sweetener, or to taste
  • Ice, to serve

Methods:

  1. Heat up 30 ml of milk and pour it over butterfly pea tea leaves. Steep for 2 minutes, then set aside.
  2. Sift matcha powder into a bowl, add 30 ml of hot water, Natvia Natural Sweetener and whisk with a bamboo whisk until smooth.
  3. To make the foam, combine the steeped butterfly pea tea milk, heavy cream and Natvia Natural Sweetener. Froth with a handheld frother until thick.
  4. Fill a tall glass with ice and pour in 100 ml of cold milk.
  5. Add the matcha over the milk.
  6. Spoon or pour the butterfly pea flower foam on top and serve immediately.
