Low Carb Chocolate Cacao Gelato

Serves: 8-10

Prep: 20 minutes

Chill: 2-3 hours

Ingredients

90 g Natvia (1/2 cup)

375 mls Non-dairy Milk (1½ cups)

375 mls Water (1½ cups)

100 g 70% Dark chocolate

2 tablespoon Cacao powder (20g)

Method

  1. Place Natvia, milk, water, chocolate, cacao in a medium sized saucepan over a low heat. Heat, stirring, until the mixture has melted and is smooth. Set aside for 1 hour to cool. Pour mixture into large zip lock bag. Lay bag flat on a metal tray and freeze for 4 hours or until frozen.
  2. Remove from freezer, bend in bag to break up mixture into smaller pieces. Transfer the mixture to a food processor and process until smooth. Spoon into 1 litre capacity loaf pan and freeze for 2-3 hours. Remove form freezer 20 minutes before serving. Scoop away and enjoy snuggled up on the couch while watching a movie.
