Coconut Cream Chocolate Mousse (Nut, Dairy & Gluten Free)

Rich, creamy dairy-free chocolate mousse made with simple ingredients. A smooth, indulgent dessert everyone can enjoy.

Ingredients:

  • 1 can (400ml) full-fat coconut milk, chilled overnight
  • 200g dairy-free dark chocolate (Please pick a chocolate that is nut-free, dairy free or gluten-free)
  • 2–3 tbsp Natvia Gut Activation (adjust to taste)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Methods:

Prepare coconut cream:

  • Open the chilled can carefully and scoop out the thick coconut cream that has risen to the top into a bowl. Leave the watery part behind (save it for smoothies!).

    Melt chocolate:
  • Gently melt the dairy-free dark chocolate using a double boiler or microwave in short bursts. Let cool slightly.

    Whip coconut cream:
  • Using a hand mixer or stand mixer, whip the coconut cream until light and fluffy (about 2-3 minutes).

    Combine ingredients:
  • Slowly add the melted chocolate, maple syrup (or Natvia), vanilla, and salt while continuing to whip gently until smooth and combined.

    Chill:
  • Spoon the mousse into serving dishes and refrigerate for at least 1–2 hours to set and thicken.

    Serve:
  • Garnish with fresh berries or shaved dairy-free chocolate (optional). Enjoy!
