Sea Salt Double Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients

  • 125g dark chocolate ( melted )
  • 150g plain flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 30g sifted cocoa
  • 70g Natvia Sweetener Canister 350g
  • Dash of vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp Sea salt @maldonsalt ( extra for topping )
  • 1 egg
  • 125g unsalted butter 

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 170C.
  2. Place the flour, cocoa, bicarbonate of soda and salt into a large bowl and mix well.
  3. In another bowl, cream the butter and Natvia Sweetener Canister 350g until light and fluffy. Add the melted chocolate and stir well.
  4. Beat in the vanilla extract and crack in the egg, then mix in the dry ingredients. 
  5. Scoop 10-12 balls and place onto a lined baking sheet about 6cm apart.
  6. bake for 18 minutes or until the cookies are ready
  7. Leave the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 4-5 minutes, then transfer them to a cooling rack .
  8. Sprinkle with sea salt and enjoy
