Sometimes you just need something sweet, quick and satisfying. These strawberry hazelnut French toast roll ups come together in 15 minutes and work just as well as an after-school snack as they do a lunchbox treat.

Golden, gooey and ready in just 15 minutes. These roll ups are a fun and easy snack the whole family will love.

Ingredients:

  • 6 slices fresh white sandwich bread
  • ½ box strawberries
  • 4½ tbsp Natvia Hazelnut Spread
  • ¼ cup Natvia Natural Sweetener
  • 1 tbsp butter

Egg mixture:

  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • Pinch of salt

Method:

  1. Combine the egg, milk, and salt in a shallow bowl wide enough to fit a roll up. Whisk to combine.
  2. Spread the Natvia Natural Sweetener out in a small flat dish and set aside.
  3. Remove the crust of the bread slices and use a rolling pin to flatten each slice of bread.
  4. Spread each slice with approximately ¾ tbsp of Natvia Hazelnut Spread.
  5. Sprinkle diced strawberries along the bottom edge of each slice.
  6. Roll up the bread firmly. The hazelnut spread will help keep it sealed.
  7. Melt butter in a pan over medium-high heat.
  8. Dip each roll up in the egg mixture, shake off any excess, and place in the pan. Repeat with the remaining roll ups.
  9. Cook for around 4 minutes, turning every minute or so, until all sides are golden.
  10. Remove from the pan and immediately roll in the Natvia Natural Sweetener to coat. Serve warm.
