Strawberry Shortcake Matcha

Strawberry milk layered under a whisked matcha, coated glass, crushed strawberry wafer crumble on top and Natvia Natural Sweetener keeping it sugar-free throughout. You do not need to book a flight to London for this one.

Ingredients:

  • 25 ml strawberry syrup, plus extra for glass coating (sugar-free optional)
  • 175 ml milk of choice
  • 2 g (1 tsp) matcha powder
  • 30 ml hot water (75 degrees)
  • 1–2 tsp Natvia Natural Sweetener, or to taste
  • Ice, to serve
  • Crushed strawberry wafer biscuits, to garnish

Methods:

  1. Combine strawberry syrup with milk and stir to make strawberry milk. Set aside.
  2. Crush strawberry wafer biscuits in a bowl and set aside.
  3. Sift matcha powder into a separate bowl, add hot water and whisk until foamy.
  4. Add Natvia Natural Sweetener to the matcha and whisk again until fully combined. Set aside.
  5. Spoon strawberry syrup onto the inside of a tall glass, coating the sides, then fill with ice.
  6. Pour in the strawberry milk, followed by the matcha.
  7. Sprinkle crushed strawberry wafer biscuits on top and serve immediately.
