Ingredients

Filling:

  • 4 medium apples, peeled, cored and chopped
  • 2 tbsp Natvia Natural Sweetener
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp lemon juice

Crumble topping:

  • ¾ cup rolled oats
  • ½ cup almond flour
  • 2 tbsp Natvia Natural Sweetener
  • 3 tbsp coconut oil (or butter), melted
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • Pinch of salt

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C and line a square baking tin (20x20cm) with baking paper.
  2. In a bowl, combine chopped apples with Natvia, cinnamon, and lemon juice. Spread evenly in the prepared tin.
  3. In another bowl, mix oats, almond flour, Natvia, cinnamon, and salt. Stir in melted coconut oil until crumbly.
  4. Sprinkle the crumble mixture evenly over the apples.
  5. Bake for 25 minutes, until the topping is golden and apples are soft.
  6. Allow to cool slightly before slicing into 12 squares. Enjoy warm or at room temperature
