CHOCOLATE ORANGE MOUSSE

Chocolate Orange Mousse

Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 cup/310ml/10.4 oz double cream
  • 1/2 cup/55g/1.9 oz Natvia
  • 2 eggs, separated
  • 100g/3.5 oz sugar free dark chocolate melted
  • 1/2 orange, juiced and zested
Serves 8

Directions

  1. Whip cream until soft peaks form and set aside.
  2. Whisk together egg yolks and Natvia until light yellow and set aside.
  3. Add the chocolate, orange juice and zest and whisk until combined.
  4. Fold 1/3 of the cream into the chocolate.
  5. Add another 1/3 of the heavy cream into chocolate and then add the remaining. Set aside.
  6. In a clean bowl, and using clean beaters, beat egg whites until soft peaks form.
  7. Gently fold 1/3 of the egg whites into the chocolate mixture and then add the remaining chocolate mixture.
  8. Cover mixture and refrigerate until needed.
