Ingredients

125 g unsalted butter, softened

90 g Natvia (½ cup)

0.5 teaspoon vanilla essence

110 g Plain Flour, plus extra (¾ cups)

25 g cacao powder (¼ cup)

2 tablespoon Cornflour

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 180C
  2. Beat butter vanilla and Natvia until light and fluffy
  3. Sift over the flour. Beat briefly until combined.
  4. Roll out the dough to about 3 cm in height and cut into circles with a floured cookie cutter. Using a straw make holes in the cookies for the ribbon. Place on lined cookie sheet.
  5. Bake for 10-12 minutes. Remove from the oven and cool for 5-8 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
  6. Thread ribbon through the hole
