
Crepes with Toffee Apple Pie Sauce

These Crepes with Toffee Apple Pie Sauce are the perfect treat to celebrate this delicious day. Light, delicate crêpes, that is sweetened naturally with Natvia Sweetener Stevia Synbiotics 250g andpaired with a rich, buttery toffee apple sauce—it’s a match made in pancake heaven!
Ingredients
- 175g all purpose Flour
- 3 eggs
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp Natvia Sweetener Stevia Synbiotics 250g
- 450ml whole milk
- Light in colour Olive oil for frying ( or coconut )
Method
- In a large bowl add milk, eggs, Natvia Sweetener Stevia Synbiotics 250g and whisk well together.
- Sift the flour ,soda and a splash of oil into the bowl and whisk well. Set aside.
- Make the toffee apple sauce : 60g butter, 1/4 cup Natvia Sweetener Stevia Synbiotics 250g, 110ml heavy cream, Pinch of sea salt, 1 large apple,
- Add butter to a small saucepan and melt slowly until fully browned (about 5 minutes).
- Add in the sweetener, heavy cream and salt stirring until fully combined.Simmer over very low heat for 15 minutes without stirring .Then mix in chopped apple chunks , set aside
- Make the crepes.
- Heat a large non-stick frying pan . Flip over once the edges are peeling away from the sides of the pan. Repeat the process
- Serve the crepes warm with toffee apple pie sauce
