Ingredients
Earl Grey Syrup
- 3 Earl Grey tea bags
- 1 cup hot water
- ½ cup Natvia Gut Activated Sweetener (or Natvia Brown Sweetener for a richer caramel note)
Matcha Latte
- 1 tsp matcha powder
- 2 tbsp Earl Grey syrup (or to taste)
- ½ cup cold milk of choice
- Ice cubes
Method
- Steep the Earl Grey tea bags in 1 cup of hot water for 5–7 minutes, until the tea is robust. Remove tea bags.
- While still hot, stir in Natvia Sweetener until fully dissolved. Let it cool. This is your syrup concentrate.
- In a glass, whisk matcha with a splash of water until smooth. You can shake it in a glass jar or use an electric whisk.
- Add 2 tablespoons of the Earl Grey syrup, then pour in milk and stir well.
- Add ice cubes and enjoy.
- The syrup will keep in the fridge for up to a week, and you’ll only need 2–3 tablespoons per drink.
