Iced Spiced Chai

Ingredients
1-1.5L water 1x 3cm nob of ginger, skin on and slightly crushed 1 stick of cinnamon The crushed pieces of ½ a whole nutmeg 6 cloves 6 cardamom pods 4 tsp Natvia ½ cup milk Whole nutmeg for grating
Method
- In a large pot, add water, ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg pieces, cloves and cardamom pods. Bring to the boil over the stove, cover with pot lid, and boil for 30-45 minutes until the water is fragrant.
- Remove from the heat stir in sweetener. Cool the liquid down to at least room temperature or colder.
- To serve, strain liquid through a sieve into glasses filled with ice. Top with a little milk and grated nutmeg.
