Intro

Flaky, gooey, and naturally sweetened — the Crookie is the dessert mashup you didn’t know you needed. A golden croissant filled with molten cookie dough? Say less. This trending treat is taking over social media, and we’ve recreated it with a better-for-you twist using Natvia Sweetener Canister 350g 💚

Whether you’re here for the crisp edges or the soft centre, this easy recipe is your excuse to jump on the Crookie craze — minus the sugar crash. Let’s bake it!

Ingredients

  • 2 croissants
  • 105 metled unsalted butter
  • 40 grams Natvia Sweetener Canister 350g
  • 75 grams brown sugar
  • 170g all purpose flour
  • 3 tbsp cornstarch
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • 1 egg
  • 160g baking chocolate chips

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 170°C (fan forced).
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the melted butter, Natvia Sweetener Canister 350g, and brown sugar until well combined.
  3. Add the egg and mix until smooth.
  4. Sift in the flour, cornstarch, and baking soda. Mix until a soft dough forms.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  6. Slice open the croissants horizontally (without cutting all the way through).
  7. Stuff generously with the cookie dough, pressing it lightly to fill and place some on the sides of the croissant too.
  8. Place the filled croissants on a lined baking tray and bake for 8-10 minutes, or until golden and gooey.
