Almond Banana Toastie

Ingredients

4 (2 per sandwich) slices your choice bread

0 coconut oil (to fry with - or just use sandwich press)

1 mashed banana

2 tablespoon almond butter

2 teaspoon Natvia

0.5 teaspoon cinnamon

1 banana (to slice and place on sandwich)

20 g sugar free dark chocolate (also on sandwich)

0 Toppings such as walnuts/coconut flakes/dark chocolate (choose your own)

Method

  1. Mash 1 banana in a mixing bowl.
  2. Add 2 tbsp almond butter to the mashed banana.
  3. Mix until well combined.
  4. Add 2 tsp of Natvia, and 1/2 tsp of cinnamon. Mix this until well combined.
  5. Spread mixture onto the bread pieces you have chosen.
  6. Cover with slices of banana and sugar free dark chocolate.
  7. Melt a tsp of coconut oil in a hot pan and add the finished sandwiches to the pan (or just use a sandwich press).
  8. Fry the sandwich edges for 3 mins each side.
  9. Take off the heat, slice sandwich in half and top with coconut, walnuts or chocolate (whatever you like really!)
