Sugar free Chai Spiced Banana Bread

Ingredients

  • 3 each very ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1 cup/90g/3 oz Almond meal
  • 1/2 cup/45g/1.5 oz coconut flour
  • 1/4 cup/45g/1.5 oz Melted coconut oil
  • 3 each Free range eggs
  • 1/2 cup/90g/3 oz Natvia
  • 1 tsp Vanilla bean paste
  • 4 tsp Ground cinnamon
  • 2 tsp each allspice, ground ginger & baking powder
  • 1 each additional banana, sliced lengthways, to garnish

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine wet ingredients.
  3. In a large bowl, combine dry ingredients.
  4. Make a well in the centre of the dry ingredients and pour wet into the centre, while mixing until well combined.
  5. Pour into loaf tin, and lay over the two banana halves, pressing down until they sit into the batter.
  6. Bake for approximately 50-55 minutes, until an inserted toothpick removes cleanly.
