Vegan Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough

I love chocolate chip cookies, it is such a simple treat but who can say no to a glass of milk and a tower of cookies? The thing is, if I had to choose, I'd rather have the cookie dough. My mum always told me eating raw dough was bad for me; not this one! This recipe is really simple to prepare, completely raw, vegan, delicious and healthy because we are making it with Natvia 100% Natural Sweetener. You can find more sugar-free recipes like this one and more over on our blog or check out Natvia's archive of dessert videos over at Healthy Treats!

Ingredients

1.5 cup oat or almond flour

0.5 cup Natvia 100% Natural Sweetener

2 tablespoon maple syrup (replace with 2 tbsp of soy milk if you want a complete sugar free recipe)

100 g dark chocolate, vegan

0 A pinch of salt

Method

  1. First, select your flour of preference; I recommend using oat flour. If you can’t find it in stores, just take your regular oat flakes and put it in the blender or food processor in high speed for 1 – 2 minutes.
  2. In a large bowl, mix your flour, salt and Natvia.
  3. Pour the maple syrup on top and start combining your ingredients to make a dough.
  4. Chop your vegan dark chocolate into medium size chunks. Chocolate chips are also an option, use any you rather.
  5. Fold in your chocolate into the dough.
  6. I like to eat it just like that but some people like to chill it before so make sure you try both ways to choose a favourite.
