Apple Buckle

Ingredients

       Filling:

  • 7-9 each Green Apples peeled, cored, and sliced
  • 2 tbsp Ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cupNatvia
  • 1/4 cup Bread flour
Topping:
  • 1/4 cup Butter dairy free or regular
  • 2/3 cupNatvia or Norbu
  • 1 each egg
  • 2 cup/300g All purpose flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup/250ml/Milk of choice

Method

  1. Filling: Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Mix all filling ingredients together in a bowl and divide them between the individual baking dishes.
  3. Topping: In a stand still mixer fitted with a paddle cream the butter and Natvia.
  4. Add in the dry ingredients alternatively with the milk until combined. Add extra milk if the batter is to thick.
  5. Divide the batter between the baking dishes over top of the apple filling.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes until the crust is golden brown. You can also lift the buckle topping up some to make sure it is baked underneath as well.
