Chocolate Rose Waffles

Ingredients

  • 20 g Oat flour
  • 14 g coconut flour
  • 21 g Natvia
  • 2 g baking powder
  • 20 g Greek yogurt
  • 2 ml Vanilla Extract
  • 1 ea. egg
  • 63 ml Unsweetened Almond Milk
  • 14 g Dried rose petals
  • Toppings:
  • Dried rose petals
  • 50g dark chocolate, melted

Directions

  1. Sift together oat flour, coconut flour, Natvia and baking powder.
  2. Mix in yogurt, vanilla, egg and milk. Set batter aside to rest for 5 minutes.
  3. Preheat waffle iron according to manufacturer’s instructions.
  4. When the waffle is heated, mix rose petals into the batter.
  5. Spray waffle iron well with non-stick spray and cook waffles in batches until the batter is used up. Drizzle chocolate sauce over waffles and garnish with rose petals. (Tip for melting chocolate: use a heatproof glass bowl on top of boiling water)
  6. Serve immediately and enjoy!
