Ingredients
BASE:
100 g Oats (1 cup)
100 g Ground Almonds (3/4 cup)
3 tablespoon Natvia
3 tablespoon Almond Butter
2 tablespoon Almond Milk
0.5 teaspoon Vailla Extract
CHOCOLATE TOPPING:
2 Large Bananas, overripe
100 mls Almond Milk (1/3 cup)
2 tablespoon Coconut Oil, melted
50 g Vegan Chocolate Protein Powder (or can substitute with Flour) (1/3 cup)
3 tablespoon Cacao or Cocoa Powder
100 g Natvia (1/2 cup)
75 g Gluten-Free Flour (1/2 cup)
2 tablespoon Flaxseed
1 teaspoon Baking Powder
75 g Walnut Pieces (3/4 cup)
Method
- Preheat the oven to 170C and grease and line a 9 x 9 inches baking tin.
- Place the oats in a blender and whizz up until a flour forms. Add in the other ingredients and pulse until the mixture comes together. Press into the base of the tin in an even layer.
- Next put all of the chocolate topping ingredients (except the walnuts) into the cleaned out blender and whizz until you have a nice smooth chocolate batter. Stir in the walnuts then spread this mixture on top evenly.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until firmed up. Leave to cool then cut into 9-12 bars.
