Healthy Caramel Slice

Ingredients

  • Base
  • 3/4 cup almonds
  • 1 tbsp crushed peanuts
  • 1 tbsp Cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup dates (soaked in boiling water for 5 minutes)
  • Filling
  • 1 1/2 cup dates
  • 1/4 cup Tahini
  • 3 tsp Natvia
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil
  • 2 tbsp peanut spread
  • 3 tbsp almond milk
  • 1/4 Cup crushed peanuts
  • Top
  • 1/4 cup Cocoa powder
  • 1/3 cup melted sugar free dark chocolate

Methods

Base:
  1. Add almonds to food processor and blend for a few seconds
  2. Add the remaining ingredients and blend until crumbly
  3. Press into a lined tray with your fingers, and put in freezer while you make the filling
Filling:
  1. Blend all ingredients except peanuts, until smooth
  2. Spread on top of base. Then sprinkle with crushed peanuts
  3. Put back in the freezer
Chocolate Layer:
  1. Melt the dark chocolate together with cocoa powder
  2. Put back in the freezer for a few hours
  3. Break and serve.
